Psychology of Social Vulnerability Lab

Three Core Research Focus Areas

We investigate psychosocial mechanisms of vulnerability and pathways to adaptation across diverse populations.

Neurodivergent Populations

We examine psychosocial and interpersonal challenges experienced by individuals with ASD and ADHD, and study intervention pathways that support adaptation and social functioning.

Women’s Lives and Adaptation

We study women’s lived experiences across age and cultural contexts, including objectification-related processes, emotion regulation, and their psychosocial correlates.

Resilience in Vulnerable Populations

We focus on resilience and recovery among socially vulnerable groups (e.g., migrants, economically disadvantaged youth), identifying pathways to reintegration and independence.
